Two-factor authentication adds an additional layer of protection to your account. For this you will need an authentication app on your mobile device or tablet; we recommend using Google Authenticator, or Authy.

How to set up two-factor authentication for your Property Inspect account:

  1. On the top right corner of your web dashboard, click on the drop down arrow next to your account name > Click on Profile:

2. Click on the Security tab, which will open up the details on two-factor authentication.

Click on the green box to setup two-factor authentication for your account:

3. You will then need to scan the QR code from the authentication app on your mobile device or tablet. We recommend using Google Authenticator, or Authy.

Once you scan the QR code, you will receive a time-sensitive code - you need to enter that code, and press Next:

4. Once you have entered the code and pressed Next, you will have successfully activated the two-factor authentication for your account. You can also disable the feature here:

5. When it's time to sign into your account, after you enter your login details, you will be asked for your authentication code that you can get from the app.

You can also choose to 'remember the device' for 30 days so you don't have to input the code each time you log in from that specific device.
