Getting Connected

MRI requires customers to follow the steps below to connect Property Inspect with MRI Property Management X (PMX). Completing each step in order helps ensure your integration is set up correctly and works as expected.

MRI PMX users need to log a support case via the myMRI Client Portal to get started.

1. Navigate to the Settings tab at the top of your online dashboard, and click on Integrations.

Scroll down to MRI Property Management X integration, and click on Connect.

2. To connect Property Inspect with MRI Property Management X (PMX), you’ll need to contact the MRI support team and request the following details.

Your MRI web services username used to associate the API user

Password

The web services password linked to the API user

Database

The name of your MRI application database

Client ID

Your MRI Client ID

Version

The version of MRI Property Management X you are using

API Farm URL

The API Farm URL you will be connecting to

3. If you haven’t received these details, select the Where can I find my credentials? banner for the MRI set-up process.

4. After retrieving your credentials and completing testing, enter the details and click the blue Connect button.

Once connected, a green banner will confirm the connection and your PMX settings will be available to configure.

⚠️ Before syncing any data, make sure your settings are configured correctly. This ensures the right information syncs across and helps prevent errors or unwanted data from being shared.


MRI Connection Steps

The Where can I find my credentials? link in the connection modal includes tailored guidance and ready-to-use templates you can copy into the MRI Client Portal to speed up your support request.

Follow the steps below in order to ensure your MRI PMX integration is set up and working correctly.

  1. Partner Connect Agreement

    Request and complete a Partner Connect Agreement with MRI. This is required before any integration setup can begin.

  2. Prepare for testing in your test database

    Submit a support case to MRI requesting connection details for your test database. This allows the integration to be set up and tested safely before going live.

  3. Partner testing

    Once MRI processes your support case, they’ll provide the required values to enter into Property Inspect. Use these to complete testing and confirm everything is working as expected.

  4. Confirmation to go live (production)

    After testing is complete, submit a second support case to MRI to request connection details for your production (live) database. Once provided, enter these details in Property Inspect to complete the live connection.
