Copying reports helps inspectors, agents and property managers reuse existing descriptions, conditions, and answers without starting from scratch. This is especially useful for Move Outs, Move Ins, or interim reports, keeping records accurate and consistent.
Getting Started
1. From your dashboard, create a new inspection for the property.
2. If the property already has inspections, the system will automatically use the most recent inspection to continue from (copying the structure and data).
This specific report and date is highlighted within a green banner.
3. If this isn’t the correct report, click Change and select the appropriate report from within the property.
5. The selected inspection from within the property will now be used to create your new inspection.
Copy An Existing Inspection from Another Property
1. Under Template options, click Override to select the report you want to use.
2. Scroll down the Template list and select the Load from Property option.
3. Search and select the specific property from the list.
4. Once you select a property, the most recent inspection done on that property will be used.
💡 TIP: If you don’t need photos, your inspection is now ready to download to the app or complete on desktop.
Copying Photos (Optional)
It’s important to note that photos do not automatically pull through when copying an existing report.
The system is designed to only copy the structure and data only unless you manually choose to bring in images.
1. When creating a new inspection and choosing to continue from a previous inspection (for the same property), tick the option Include Images from Previous Inspection if you want photos to be copied across.
2. If you forgot to tick Include Images from Previous Inspection, you can still copy the photos across.
Once the inspection is marked as Active, click on the Uploads tab.
3. Click Copy From Previous Inspection.
4. Select the specific inspection from the property you want to copy images from.
5. Wait for the photos to transfer. Depending on the number of photos, this process may take a few minutes to complete.
❗ NOTE
If you If you have already copied photos, doing it again may cause duplicate images in the inspection.
If the selected report used a different template, attachments may be transferred as unassigned.
Always review copied photos to ensure they are relevant.
