There may be a time where you complete an inspection, but on an incorrect property. This can be fixed, and there are two options:

1. Change / switch addresses of the property in the system

This option would be best if you have only one inspection under the incorrect property.

This can be done via your desktop dashboard > Properties. Go to the property that you need to rename > click on 'Edit Property'.

2. Copy the report to the correct property

This option is best if there are any historic inspections on the incorrect property/properties, i.e., prior inspections that were previously done.

Go to the correct property and 'Add New Inspection". Choose the appropriate Report Type, and Under 'Template', click on 'Load from Property' > choose the property where you initially conducted the inspection, and choose it as a template.

Once you have filled in the relevant fields and saved the new inspection under the correct property > start the report, and scroll to the bottom of the screen where you have the option to "Add New Block" - you will find a drop down box where you can choose to 'Load from...' > Choose "Property".

Here you can again choose the property where you initially conducted the inspection, and choose the inspection you want to move over. Once you choose the inspection you want to move over, this box will appear:

You must click on 'Reset', and ensure that the three boxes below are also ticked before clicking on 'Import'.

Once the import is done, the inspection was successfully moved over to the correct property.

Remember: If the report was already Closed before moving it over, you will have to get it resigned by the necessary individual/s.

***IMPORTANT***

Don't forget to go back to the initial property where the inspection was done and 'Cancel Inspection' - this can be found at the bottom left corner of the desktop screen on the inspection.
