Integrating Property Inspect with PayProp allows for seamless synchronization of inspection reports and rental payment data, providing property managers with a comprehensive view of property performance and tenant compliance. This integration streamlines communication, improves efficiency, and enhances overall property management by centralizing key information and reducing manual data entry. The Property Inspect + PayProp integration also allows you to automatically sync issues raised during an inspection into the PayProp maintenance ticketing system.

πŸ’‘ Our PayProp integration is available in the following regions:

  • CA (Canada);

  • UK (United Kingdom);

  • US (United States); and

  • ZA (South Africa).

What does this integration do?

  • Data that syncs from PayProp into Property Inspect:

    • Properties

    • Tenant contact information

  • Data that syncs from Property Inspect into PayProp:

πŸ’‘ Property Inspect also allows you to upload historic inspection reports to your property.

Connecting to PayProp

1. Navigate to the Settings tab at the top of your online dashboard >> click on Integrations >> scroll down to the PayProp integration:

2. Click on the green Connect PayProp button under the PayProp tab:

3. You will then be redirected to the PayProp login page. Choose your specific region before you enter your login details:

4. Once you enter your details and log into your PayProp profile, you will be notified that RadWeb is requesting access to PayProp:

5. Scroll down the page and click on Allow:

6. Once you click Allow, you will be redirected back to your Property Inspect integrations' page and you will see that your PayProp account has been linked:

7. You can manage the settings for this integration from this tab, i.e., if you would like new properties to sync through and/or when you want actions to be synced back to PayProp:

πŸ’‘ Once an inspection is marked as Complete on the Property Inspect side, a PDF copy of that report will automatically sync through to the property on the PayProp side.

Any actions/issues that have been linked to the PayProp maintenance category will also automatically sync through to the PayProp maintenance ticketing system.

Syncing issues back to PayProp

The Property Inspect + PayProp integration also allows you to automatically sync issues raised during an inspection into the PayProp maintenance ticketing system.

  1. Navigate to the Settings tab at the top of your Property Inspect dashboard

  2. Click on Actions.

  3. Click on the inspection type under the first column >> select any action in the second column and you will see the PayProp Maintenance Category in the third column.

  4. You will need to create the PayProp Maintenance Categories under the Actions for that specific inspection type so that issues/actions match between Property Inspect and PayProp.

    Example: If you have Plugs under the PayProp maintenance category, you will need to create Plugs under that inspection type's actions (second column).

Each issue/action listed under the PayProp Maintenance Category needs to match the Property Inspect issue/action in order for the data to sync back through to the PayProp Maintenance Ticketing System.

Uploading historic inspection reports to Property Inspect

If you have historic inspection reports (done by a third-party software) or you are migrating from pen & paper, Property Inspect allows you to upload PDF/Word/Doc/DocX files to be stored under a property.

1. Navigate to the Properties tab on your online dashboard >> search for the property and click on it.

If the property does not exist on your account as yet, click on the blue Add New Property to add the property to the account.

2. Once you click on the property, click on the Uploads tab for that property:

3. Click on the Choose Files button to select the file you want to upload from your device.

4. Once the file is uploaded, it will appear under the Uploads tab for this property:
