Tenant Comments allow tenants to provide written feedback and upload photos directly to an inspection report. This helps capture additional context, clarify concerns, and reduce follow-up communication after an inspection is shared.
With flexible visibility and layout controls, you can decide how tenant feedback appears in reports and whether tenants can manage their own uploads.
Ideal for agencies, inspectors, and property managers who want clearer communication and more transparent inspection records.

How Tenant Feedback Works
When tenant feedback is enabled:
Web-based inspection reports display an additional Comments section alongside inspection items.
Each contact receives a unique report link, ensuring their name is automatically recorded next to their comments.
Reports can be shared by selecting View Report → Share, then entering the recipient’s email address.
Once a contact accesses the report via their unique link, they can begin leaving comments (and photos, if enabled).
Tenant Comments on Move-In and Move-Out Reports
On Move In inspections, any tenant comments that remain when the report is completed and closed will automatically carry through to the Move Out report as Actions.
This ensures inspectors can easily review previously raised issues during the next inspection.

Tenant Comments Summary
Displays a consolidated summary of all tenant comments in one place within the report.
1. Under the Enable Comments' option, toggle the Show tenant comments summary to On.
2. All tenant comments will be grouped into a dedicated section [Comment Summary] at the end of the report for easy review.
Troubleshooting Feedback Issues in PDF Reports
Users may encounter cases where tenant comments on web reports fail to appear in the PDF version. To resolve this:
Open the report link in a private browsing session or a different browser to check for cached issues.
Clear browser cache and cookies, then do a hard refresh of the page using shortcuts (Ctrl + F5 for Windows or Cmd + Shift + R for Mac).
Re-download the report to ensure it reflects the latest entries. Following these steps usually resolves the issue caused by outdated files.
Best Practices for Managing Feedback
Rely on automated synchronization for web reports to maintain accurate feedback.
For feedback via PDFs, establish clear procedures for manual updates to prevent discrepancies.
Regularly clear your browser's cache and cookies if handling PDFs frequently to avoid inconsistencies.
