Features and Benefits of the Integration
The aim of the integration is to automate a number of the mundane manual tasks for example:
Sync Properties and Units from MRI to Property Inspect. The sync includes newly added units, the updating of property/ unit information and or removing units as deleted or archived in MRI Property Central.
Sync tenants from MRI to Property Inspect as Contacts.
Configure tenant settings to automatically notify tenants of inspections, deliver completed inspections to them via email and created them as a signee on inspection
The integration allows you to select which property- and accommodation types should be synced from MRI to Property Inspect.
And pushes completed inspection reports from Property Inspect to Property Central for easy access.
We are in the process of scoping out a further phase 2 of the integration. The aim of the additional development is for issues flagged at inspection to sync to Property Central as draft jobs card.
How to Get Started
In order to link your Property Inspect account with your Property Central account, you will need to reach out to the MRI support team and request an API v2 user to be setup on your instance of MDA.
You will need to provide the following information for the API v2 user:
First Name (e.g. Property Inspect)
Last Name (e.g. API)
Email Address (an email address to associate with the API user)
Which database(s) the user should be linked to.
Typically we suggest that clients start the integration on their Test database before linking it to Live.
With the above information on hand, you will log into your Property Inspect account and navigate to Settings > Integrations > MDA. Click on the Connect MDA button to get started:
Insert the Email, Password and Database Identifier as per the MRI Support Teams feedback and click Connect to get started.
